 The Jamesport Country Store on Main Road on the North Fork is run by Howard Waldman. Started by his Mom in 1973 Mr. Waldman hired someone to run the shop when she passed in 1983. Eventually he left his job in Manhattan and took over. The shop contains a plethora of goods ranging from pickles and vintage finds to art supplies and handmade jewelry with beach glass. May 13, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Tuckahoe Hill Preserve, Sebonac Rd, Southampton, NY 11968, USA Join the Southampton History Museum for a moderately hilly 4 mile hike starting at the kiosk on Sebonac Road 1/3 mile east of Tuckahoe School. This hike features our local wetlands, woodlands, streams and ponds and a fabulous overlook across the bays to the north shore. The hike is co-sponsored by the Southampton Trails Preservation Society. Leashed pets are welcome.
