Self-guided tour of East Hampton gardens following an illustrated lecture by the former editor of HOUSE & GARDEN magazine, Charlotte M. Frieze, presents "Big Ideas for Small Gardens." For club members only but the fireworks can be seen from the surrounding area. Montauk: The Stars Over Montauk display by Grucci takes play at 9:15 pm at Umbrella Beach. Saturday, July 7 Amagansett: The Devon Yacht Club features fireworks at approximately 9:15 pm. For members only, but the public can view the show from Fresh Pond Beach. Saturday, August 14 Sag Harbor: The Sag Harbor Fire Department will display fireworks around dusk as part of its celebration at Haven's Beach. The carnival runs from August 7 to 11. Labor Day Weekend: The East Hampton Fire Department hosts fireworks at Main Beach at approximately 9 pm. Real Housewives of New York star Countess Luann de Lesseps just listed her 1835 historic waterfront home in Sag Harbor for $6.25 million. The Countess purchased the 2500 square foot Greek Revival home in December 2013 for $2.65 million and has made extensive renovations and upgrades. Brown Harris Stevens has the listing for the home on John Street that is also available for rental: $150,000 for the month of August. The parcel is 0.31 acre and also features a winterized studio with a full bath. Luann, the Bravo TV celebrity, has been tweeting photos of herself in the Catskills with hashtags like #movingon and #peace prompting fans and media to speculate that she is heading there. Took a trip to Montauk today. Working Boats on Montauk Inlet Napeague State Park has announced new public access to the beach. There is also a new kiosk with information on the former Smith Meal Fish Factory. The park has added two miles of new trails including a 1.5 mile loop and beach loop. There is an overlook with a 10-car parking area. Signs display information about the fishing industry.

Tiger Woods takes a dinghy every day from the yacht to the site of the U.S. Open, Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, to beat the traffic. Touring Tiger Woods' Yacht: PrivacyLYMAN BEECHER HOUSE: Rev. Lyman Beecher lived here from 1799 to 1810. Renovations made by George Hand in 1850 include the fine Greek Revival doorway. It is now East Hampton Village Hall.
For more than 250 years, the House at 143 Main Street has welcomed guests and provided hospitality in the heart of downtown East Hampton. Built in the late 1700s by Jonathan Dayton, the building was a store and guest house. The structure was enlarged in 1942 and is today a chic boutique hotel and popular restaurant.
