Perfect Autumn Weather for a Fun Day on North Fork

The weather was 64 degrees, sunny and flawless so why not hop on the quick ferry to Shelter Island and then another to Greenport on the North Fork for a day of outdoor fun.

First stop was Harbes Farm, 715 Sound Avenue in Mattituck. Plenty of activities for everyone from a pumpkin patch to an assortment of barnyard animals in the petting zoo to a winery. The shop sells pumpkins and just-picked seasonal veggies, homemade pickles and much more.
